This Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary has 7 mm. blue sapphire glass beads and an ornate gold over pewter crucifix and a center gold over pewter medal filled with Our Lady of Lourdes holy water. Our Lady of Lourdes appeared to Bernadette Soubirous on February 11, 1858 in the Grotto of Massabielle, in France. Our Lady continued to appear to Bernadette at the grotto for a total of 18 times and numerous miraculous healings were reported. The request of Our Lady of Lourdes to Bernadette and all the pilgrims was to offer penance and  pray the rosary.
